Study Tour to Panam City, Sonargaon, Narayangonj

Panam City is an ancient historical city in Bangladesh. It is situated at Sonargaon, Narayangonj in Bangladesh. The history of the city is closely connected with Baro-Bhuyan. Panam City is one of the most visited tourist spots in Bangladesh. The city was the capital of ruler Isa Khan and played significant roles for trading and commerce of that period. The city covers the architecture of the Sultanate, Mughal, and colonial periods. The Panam City, located near the present-day capital of Dhaka, includes several Mughal monuments. British colonial architecture is also preserved in Sonargaon. For Businessmen and travellers making their way along the 2,500-kilometer Grand Trunk Road from Peshawar in the Hindu Kush, Sonargaon marked the end of the line. As a co-organizer with WUBBC and BTHM Club WUBEC organized this tour to introduce the members with the golden history of prosperity in business and trade of Bangladesh.
