World School of Business, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a live Facebook Webinar on “Corporate Training and Development for Effective Employee Performance” on July 16, 2021 (Friday) from 8.00 PM to 9.00 PM. Mohammad Emadul Haque, Head of Training and Administration, Akij Food and Beverage Limited, Dr. Selim Ahmed, Associate Professor & Head, World School of Business, Dr. Wasib Bin Latif, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Administration, World University of Bangladesh contributed as speakers in the webinar. Fatema Tuj Johara, Chief Coordinator of WUBSS, World University of Bangladesh moderated the session.

The discussant covers the following issues: i) Concept of training and development from corporate perspective; ii) Process of training and development at Akij Food and Beverage Limited; iii) Challenges of employee development; iv) Guidelines for organizing employee development programs; v) Role of educational institutions in this aspect etc.
