World University of Bangladesh organized a Job Fair and Career Counselling Session in association with Neways International Company Limited on 20th November, 2019 (Wednesday) in the city campus of World University of Bangladesh. The program is supported by World School of Business.

Neways International Company Limited announced the recruitment on November 13, 2019 and they collected CV during seven days (Nov 13 – Nov 19) for the following 68 positions: Executive-Sales & Marketing (15), Lobby Hostes (Female) (5), Guest Service Agent (10) Executive- Supply Chain Management (3), Executive –Digital Marketing (3), Executive – Site Acquisition (5), Executive – Architect Designer (2), Executive – IT & Networking (2), Customer Service Representative (Part Time/ Full Time) (10), Executive – Front Desk (2), Executive – Graphic Designer (4), Executive – Web Developer (3), Civil Engineer (2), Electrical Engineer (2). The graduates and running students submitted about 70 CVs for full time and part time job respectively.

On 20th November, 2019 there were two sessions. In the first session, there was a career counselling for the students and graduates. The keynote speaker was Md. Rashel Kabir, Deputy General Manager, Neways International Company Limited. The Chief Speaker was Mr. Jimmy Zhang, Chief Operating Officer, Neways International Company Limited. The honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nurul Islam was present as chief guest in the career counselling session. Dr. Selim Ahmed, Head, World School of Business also provided career counselling to the students. The career counselling session was anchored by Md. Azim, Sr. Lecturer, World School of Business.

After the career counselling session, there was interview session for the graduates and students who submitted CVs for recruitment. The interview session was coordinated by Md. Shahariar Alam, Senior Executive (HR & Admin), Neways International Company Limited.
