Biography
Sakila Sultana, an emerging academic and researcher in the field of Economics with a solid foundation in empirical research, policy analysis, and academic instruction. She is currently serving as a Lecturer at the World University of Bangladesh, where she brings her diverse research background and analytical expertise into the classroom. She previously worked as a Research Associate at BRAC Business School, BRAC University. Her earlier role as a Research Assistant at the University Research Center of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) involved significant contributions to research. With hands-on experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, Sakila has collaborated on multiple academic projects. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications as well. Sakila holds a Master of Social Science (MSS) and a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Her academic performance is complemented by awards including an Honorary Merit Scholarship and a Best Poster Presenter Award in a co-curricular competition.
