Dr. Antonio Hyder was designated Honorary Professor of technology marketing at the World University of Bangladesh in 2019. He is the Director of Scientific Research at Hackers and Founders (H/F) Palo Alto, California, USA the world’s largest community of technology startups with 300.000+ members in over 60 countries. At H/F he globally contributes to the development of technology ecosystems from a scientific research / policy perspective.
Having completed numerous international degrees in engineering, business, languages, education and science, whilst working at the same time with technology companies, Dr. Hyder has taught for more than 20 years technology marketing, e-tourism and international marketing nourished by his distinctive integrated industry and research trajectory which led him to become an early lecturer in Internet and digital marketing, receiving substantial exposure on the media. He has conducted post-doctoral research at Stanford University, California in the field of internet policy; is a scientific expert for the European Commission; and he advises governments in four continents on the development of innovation ecosystems and science-based / technology startups.
He has delivered research seminars and keynote speeches at reputed research institutions including the University of Nottingham, Tokyo Institute of Technology, ESAN University in Lima, Sri Lanka’s National Science Foundation and Stanford. He has authored more than 50 research contributions and actively participates in the world’s leading scientific conferences as both an author and a reviewer. Recently Dr. Hyder is developing a taste for technological research as applied to the entertainment industry due to his early international background in digital music and visual media distribution, as well as his advisory role to a global celebrity.
