Biography

Md. Abdul Quayyum is a Lecturer in Statistics at World University of Bangladesh (WUB). He holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from Khulna University with a CGPA of 3.96/4.00 (First Class First) and a B.Sc. in Statistics with a CGPA of 3.80/4.00.

His academic and research interests include applied statistics, statistical modelling, survey data analysis, regression analysis, machine learning, and public health research. His research experience includes working with nationally representative Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS) data and applying statistical and machine learning methods to real-world health and social problems.

He has research experience as a Research Assistant at the Statistics Discipline, Khulna University, and has contributed to research on antenatal care, child health, nutritional status, and under-five mortality. His research work has been published in PLOS ONE, with additional manuscripts under review. He is proficient in R, Python, STATA, SPSS, Kobo Toolbox, and Microsoft Office. With his knowledge, academic credentials, and skills, he is committed to proving himself to be beneficial to the university and its students.
