Biography
Umme Honey Nidhi has been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at the World University of Bangladesh. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Noakhali Science and Technology University, where she cultivated a robust theoretical and analytical foundation in the discipline. Complementing her academic credentials, Ms. Nidhi possesses significant industry expertise, having completed advanced professional residency in Front Office Management at the InterContinental Dhaka, alongside comprehensive industrial training at the Bangladesh Hotel Management and Tourism Training Institute (BHMTTI). These executive roles advanced her specialized competencies in stakeholder relations, service quality optimization, conflict mitigation, and operational workflow engineering.
As an active scholar, her empirical research investigates the socioeconomic and operational dynamics defining the tourism ecosystem in Bangladesh, with peer-reviewed publications focusing on heritage tourism frameworks and the systemic impact of online consumer metrics. Driven by a commitment to pedagogical efficacy and institutional advancement, Ms. Nidhi’s broader research agenda encompasses sustainable development paradigms, Community-Based Tourism (CBT), strategic marketing methodologies and contemporary hospitality practices.
