Biography
Rafina Tabassum is a Lecturer in Finance at the World University of Bangladesh. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), both majoring in Finance, from the University of Dhaka, where she achieved strong academic performance with notable merit positions. Her academic background has provided her with a solid foundation in financial analysis, corporate governance, and quantitative methods.
Rafina gained practical exposure to the capital market through her internship at the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), which allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of regulatory frameworks and the functioning of the stock market in Bangladesh. In addition to her academic role, she has been involved in developing admission curricula and instructional materials for nationwide university entrance preparation, contributing to structured learning design and assessment development for a diverse group of students.
As an educator, Rafina is committed to delivering engaging and student-centered learning experiences. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application, preparing students to navigate real-world financial challenges.
