The Department of Business Administration is currently a candidate for Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accreditation, which signifies its alignment with international business education standards. ACBSP accreditation focuses on teaching excellence, faculty development, and measurable student outcomes, ensuring that WUB’s business programs meet globally recognized benchmarks.

Additionally, the department holds academic membership with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, another prestigious accreditation body for business schools. While still working toward full accreditation, this affiliation demonstrates WUB’s dedication to high-quality teaching, research, and continuous improvement in business education. AACSB accreditation is highly selective and signifies a commitment to excellence in management education.

Furthermore, the department also the member of Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), a prestigious regional network dedicated to advancing management education and development across South Asia. AMDISA, established in 1989, connects over 323 management institutions across eight South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, fostering collaboration, quality assurance, and professional development.

Besides of the membership of ACBSP, AACSB and AMDISA, the university also holds the membership of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) and International Association of Universities (IAU). These affiliations enhance the university’s reputation, providing students with globally recognized qualifications and opportunities for cross-border learning.
