WUB Business Dean Professor Selim Ahmed Highlights Sustainable RMG Research at University of Leeds, UK

Professor Dr. Selim Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies at the World University of Bangladesh, was invited by Leeds University Business School and the JEL-India South Asia Business Centre, University of Leeds, UK, to present a research paper as a visiting scholar from 24 February to 1 March 2025.

During his visit, he delivered a paper titled “Sustainable Business Performance of the Ready-Made Garments Sector in Bangladesh” to an audience that included PhD students and faculty members. He also engaged in discussions on potential collaborative research projects between the Department of Business Administration, World University of Bangladesh, and Leeds University Business School.

In addition to his visit to the University of Leeds, Professor Ahmed visited the University of Lincoln, where he met with the Deputy Dean of Lincoln International Business School to explore opportunities for future academic and research collaborations.
