The
Department of Business Administration at the World University of Bangladesh
distributed Eid Food Packs on March 24, 2025. This program was organized as
part of the department's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative,
aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2: Zero Hunger). Eid is a
time of joy, and to extend this happiness to all, the department arranges Eid
Food Pack distribution programs.
The
Eid Food Packs were distributed to 90 underprivileged families residing in
Uttara. Initially, the distribution took place near the campus of the World
University of Bangladesh. Later, additional distributions were carried out in
the Brindabon area of Sector 17, Uttara, Dhaka.
Distinguished
guests who attended the distribution program included Prof. Zaki Imam,
Registrar; Professor M. Moqbul Hossain, Controller of Examinations; Dr. Selim
Ahmed, Dean and Head of the Department of Business Administration; Ahsan
Thouhid Milton; Md. Kamrul Hossain, Joint Registrar (Jr.); Mohammed Shaiful
Hannan, Joint Controller of Examinations (Jr.); Mohammad Abir Islam, Deputy
Controller of Examinations; and faculty members of the Department of Business
Administration.
The
program was convened by Dr. Selim Ahmed and coordinated by Abdullah Mohammad
Sharif, Assistant Professor; Md. Amith, Lecturer; Md. Azim, Assistant
Professor; and Dr. Sharif Hosen, Senior Lecturer. Members of the WUB Business
Club actively participated by providing logistical support, ensuring the
successful completion of the program.
